When should I use Deep Clean?

Use Deep Clean only when surface inspection reveals embedded contamination that normal washing cannot lift. Signs include: scum that no longer lifts with Rinse & Wash, dull or uneven finish, embedded staining, or loss of surface clarity. Deep Clean is condition-based, not automatic.

How often can I use Deep Clean?

Deep Clean frequency depends on boat usage: 1-2 sessions per week = every 3-4 months; 3-4 sessions per week = every 2-3 months; 5-6 sessions per week = every 6-8 weeks. Only perform if normal washing no longer restores surface feel, surface shows contamination bonding, or race prep is planned.

Will Deep Clean remove yellowing from my boat?

No. If a hull shows yellowing that does not lift with Deep Clean, this is oxidation of the surface coating, not contamination. The resin has chemically aged and the color shift is permanent. Deep Clean stabilizes the surface and prevents further contamination from bonding — it does not reverse material aging. This demonstrates Laminar's technically honest approach.

Can Deep Clean damage my boat?

When used correctly and as directed, Deep Clean will not damage your boat. However, it is a periodic restoration cleaner that slightly 'resets' the surface. This is powerful, but restraint matters. Overuse can cause hull coatings to age faster and oxidation to accelerate. Follow the recommended schedule based on your usage frequency.

What does Deep Clean remove?

Can I use Deep Clean on matte finish or wooden boats?
